Enrolment and reservation

• After we have received and approved your application, we invite you for an online interview.
• At the end of the interview you are told if you are offered a place on the course. If so, we keep your place for 48 hours. To accept, you need to send us the €400 deposit within this time.
• We reserve your spot on receipt of the deposit. You receive the course confirmation and pre-course tasks by email.
• The course timetable is subject to change.

Payment conditions

• Payments are non-refundable.
• For face-to-face courses, the balance of the course fee must be paid no later than 15 days before the first day of the course. Should the balance not reach us on time, you are automatically placed on a reserve list and risk losing your place if someone pays in full before you do. There is no right to a refund of your deposit.
• If you postpone the starting date of your Trinity CertTESOL course giving more than 4 weeks’ notice, there is no penalty. Your payment remains valid for a future course, which must be completed within one year of the postponement.
• If you postpone giving less than 4 weeks’ notice, your original €400 deposit must be paid again. The course must be completed within one year of the postponement.
• If you cancel the Trinity CertTESOL course, there is no refund (0%).
• Students who start but do not finish their programme receive no refund (0%). The fees cannot be used for a future course.
• The place on any course and the fees paid cannot be transferred to another person.
• TEFL in Italy cannot be held responsible for loss or theft of personal belongings.
• We reserve the right to cancel a course up to 2 weeks before the start date. In this case your full fees are refunded, including the deposit.
• A fee of €100 applies to any referred assignment (an assignment that is failed and needs to be remarked).
• The school reserves the right to cancel a course if forced to do so by unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond its control (war, civil or political unrest, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions, or other similar events). In this case your full fees are refunded.

Conditions for students who need a visa

• Apply through our programme. If you apply for the TEFL & Intensive Italian + Visa Programme, the full fee must be received before we supply the enrolment documents for the visa application. The conditions for being granted a visa include medical insurance covering your stay abroad and a residential address in Rome.
• If your visa application is rejected, we refund the amount paid for the intensive Italian course after receiving a copy of the rejection letter issued by the Italian authority (embassy or consulate), withholding an administrative fee of €400. The Trinity CertTESOL fee is not refunded, as the course can be attended on a tourist visa (no paperwork required) or online.
• If your visa application is rejected for our TEFL + Internship Programme, we refund the amount paid after receiving a copy of the rejection letter issued by the Italian authority (embassy or consulate), withholding an administrative fee of €100.
