Great program and staff! It was definitely very time consuming, however, I still learned a lot and enjoyed the class! Would highly recommend!Posted on Google![]()

GREAT experience. My Tutor Giulia was exceptional, helpful, and easy to talk to. I did the course in person and now have memories for a lifetime. I did take the Intensive 4 week course, which was CERTAINLY intensive, but doable. I recommend setting aside all necessary time to complete it. Thanks to TEFL in Italy I'm now certified to teach English, and had a wonderful experience.Posted on Google![]()

I found the 6-week Trinity CertTESOL course with TEFL in Italy to be an intensive and valuable introduction to a new field for me. Coming from a non-English-teaching background, I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I started the programme. Over these six compact and intensive weeks, I gained a great deal of knowledge and was introduced to many aspects of English language teaching that I had not been aware of before. The course provided me with a solid foundation and, importantly, a framework from which I can continue to develop my skills and pursue English teaching further. The team put a great deal of effort into organising and delivering the course, and I appreciated the work that went into making such an intensive programme possible. I would particularly like to thank Iza for her engaging teaching, flexibility and depth of knowledge. Her ability to respond to questions, adapt to different situations and share practical insights made her sessions especially valuable to me. It was certainly a challenging experience at times, but I am glad I took the opportunity to step into this new field. I finished the course with a much clearer understanding of English language teaching and a good foundation for continuing my learning.Posted on Google![]()

As an experienced teacher, I came into this thinking I already knew it all—but I quickly realised how mistaken I was. I initially wanted to add another qualification to my CV, yet I walked away with far more than that. It has been a genuinely humbling experience and has added many more arrows to my bow.Posted on Google![]()

I recently completed the Trinity CertTESOL course at TEFL in Italy in Rome, and I can honestly say it was one of the most valuable experiences I’ve had in my teacher training journey. The course is fully accredited by Trinity College London and it provided me with plenty of practical teaching opportunities with real ESL learners in Italy. The trainers ans educators were some of the most patient, supportive, and knowledgeable people I’ve met. One thing I will say is that this course deserves to be much better known because the quality of TESOL/TEFL training is truly outstanding!! And if you’re serious about becoming an English teacher, here are a few things that stood out to me and may resonate with you: • It’s internationally accredited and recognized as a CertTESOL qualification by Trinity College London • It’s well structured • The trainers are knowledgeable and supportive • I had a lot of practical teaching practice (both hands-on and virtual) • It’s about quality • It’s affordable and worth every dime • Plus, it’s in Rome, which makes the experience even more inspiring! I highly recommend this course TEFL in Italy (Rome) to anyone considering a TESOL/TEFL qualification. It’s intense, but the experience is meaningful, professional, and absolutely worth it!! Thanks everyone for such a wonderful experience!! 💯💕Posted on Google![]()

I completed the online version of the TEFL course. It was an extremely valuable and rewarding experience. The course was very useful and well-structured, but what I appreciated the most was the practical component, especially the teaching practices, that gave me the opportunity to grow, gain confidence and improve my teaching skills significantly. I would also like to sincerely thank the tutors, who were always supportive and encouraging. Their feedback and precious advice made a huge difference throughout the course! I would definitely do this course again and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to develop professionally as a teacher. A truly excellent learning experience!

IndiaIn order to expand my career options, I opted for the six-week Trinity’s CertTESOL course in its Rome Centre at TEFL-in-Italy in July-August 2024. Though I wanted to take the face-to-face course in Rome, but ultimately I did it online for some reason.
Initially, I was a bit apprehensive about how it may turn out in such a short time because being a journalist by profession, I had no prior experience in teaching. But I must say that taking up this extremely intensive course from TEFL-in-Italy was one of the best decisions. Having an academic background in English Major also helped but while doing the course, I realised the need to revise various grammatical aspects.
From the beginning, the institute director Miriam had extended all possible help and the course conductors including Georgina, Iza, Giulia, Kate and Ellen had provided guidance at every step. Trinity’s course module was divided into five sections, the digital coursebook and the coaching provided were of top quality.
Observing classroom teaching both from the perspective of a learner and a trainee teacher, attending a completely unknown foreign language class to understand what students of a new language feel, teaching practice with guidance from a tutor, grammar and phonology, using supplementary and innovative teaching materials and detailed profiling of a learner plus several assignments, were all incorporated within the six-week course!
Due to its vastness, I wished the course should have spanned at least for 2.5 to 3 months so that one had enough time to read and absorb every section and sub-section of the module. The practical part, which included teaching real students and doing a learner profile, were crucial. Thanks to tutor Iza Mania for her guidance in lesson planning before an actual teaching practice and for helping me learn to teach in a zoom classroom. In my opinion, if learners stay self-motivated and seriously complete this course, they can indeed become good and confident teachers.
Apart from high-quality teaching, I am happy to find TEFL-in-Italy also provides opportunity for further teaching practice, internship, it also recommends for teaching jobs and offers specialized courses such as Teaching Business English and Teaching Young Learners, which I intend to pursue soon.

UKI am really glad I took this course! It’s been really intense but I’ve learned a lot and enjoyed myself a lot. I think (hope!) I’ve made friends for life and developed new skills, that I can’t wait to make use of in the classroom.
Make no mistake: this course is not for the faint-hearted, but if you’re willing to work hard and you have an open mind then you will learn a lot.

RussiaHaving studied teaching and linguistics for five years, I had little idea of what an English lesson could be like. My education allowed me to work as a teacher but as a teacher with a rigid mindset and lack of flexibility. I was taught to be like this: to rely on a set of rules, directives and limited understanding of the learning process. However, that went against my nature and I realised that something had to be done. I didn’t really know how or where or when, though. It was by accident that I came across the abbreviation TEFl and became curious of its name and philosophy. Although, nothing is an accident, really.
I was lucky to find a solution to the problem that had been worrying me since graduation and first years of teaching practice. The Trinity CertTESOL course gave me the satisfaction and realization that I am following the right path in my life. Now the pieces of the puzzle now fall easily into place. The communicative approach showed me the other side of the educational coin. Yes, it can be engaging, efficient, diverse, challenging and interactive. During these intense two months I have been noticing, and quite surprisingly so, profound changes in me as a teacher and in me asa person. I could as well say that I was able to combine those personalities at last. There is no more contradiction. That being said, I should mention that I am now more aware of what kind of a teacher I am and the multiple professional skills that desperately need improvement. But I will be happy to work on those and anticipate encounter with more challenges in my future career as an ESL teacher. It is something I gladly look forward to…
This course gave me a sense of direction. And it gave me confidence that setting goals for your professional development might result in you actually achieving them. I’ve learned a lot on this journey. And I am grateful for the people who were with me.

FranceThis course helped me improve as a teacher. I was lucky to receive constructive feedback from experienced teachers. The students were eager to learn English and they asked interesting questions that helped me in my teaching practice. I was given useful tips, good ideas and valuable strategies to enhance my teaching skills.
I had the opportunity to meet nice people with different backgrounds and this made our discussions even more interesting. I have learned a lot in such a short period of time, I’m really happy I resisted for the course in Rome. It was a wonderful journey to class every day!
